Astoria Park is a 59.96-acre (24.26 ha) public park in the Astoria neighborhood of Queens in New York City. The park is situated on the eastern shore of the Hell Gate, a strait of the East River, between Ditmars Boulevard to the north and Hoyt Avenue to the south.

Astoria Park is situated right on the East River, nestled between the Triboro and Hell Gate Bridges. I usually get there via the bike path that extends all the way along the west side of Queens. In Astoria Park, the bike path meets the shore of the East River, where I like to stop and admire the views of Manhattan and Randall's Island.
